Technical Analysis Masterclass Course Overview

The Technical Analysis Masterclass 2.0 is an online course designed to teach students how to analyse market trends, identify potential trading opportunities, and manage risk effectively (this was the most crucial point as I learned later).

The course is taught by Syed Faraz, a true gem of a person and an exceptionally skilled analyst and trader with years of experience in the field.

Now coming to the course outline. The entire course comprises approximately 13 weeks. The course is structured into several modules, each covering a different aspect of technical analysis. The modules include:

• Charting techniques
• Trend analysis
• Support and resistance levels
• Harmonics trading patterns
• Price patterns
• Risk management
• Trading psyche
• Trading Strategies
• A bonus lecture (its a surprise)

As I was informed during enrolment that the team had revamped the entire course to make it more approachable for everyone. And to be honest, the hard work paid off. I had no prior knowledge of trading or the financial markets. I was oblivious to the fact that we can trade commodities too from Pakistan!

How is the Course Delivered?

Each lecture is meticulously curated with all the points mentioned with real-life trades and examples taken in real-time. From the foundation lecture about how to use the MT4 platform each module takes you further into the intricate world of trading and analysis.

Lectures are delivered through a Learning Management System (LMS). The lecture for the week is updated according to the time slot you selected. If you have any queries that are still pending after the lecture and your consequent trade, a dedicated mentor can help you out.

But if you need more help the mentor will arrange a live session to explain the concepts further. The best part is the interactive live session with Sir Faraz. This is where most of your queries are answered patiently and in detail. Besides the lectures and live sessions, there’s a quiz and some other hands-on trading exercises.

My Experience Taking the Course

As someone who has never traded ever in my life or had knowledge about markets, charts and whatnot! I was excited to take the Technical Analysis Masterclass 2.0 course to learn this new skill that will help me earn in USD sitting at home from Pakistan!

My biggest motivation to take this course was a passive income that beats inflation. Everything was smooth sailing from Lecture 1 onwards. I was impressed with the quality of the content and the delivery format.

The course was well-structured, with each module building on the previous one, and the video lectures were engaging and informative. I appreciated the hands-on exercises that allowed me to practice what I learned and apply it to real-world scenarios.

Challenges I Faced and Overcoming Them

As with any course, there were times when I found the content challenging to understand. However, the course was designed so that I could go back and review the material until I fully understood it. I would always seek assistance from my colleagues, and our mentor and if I still had any queries, I would wait for the weekly live session and ask Sir Faraz. He was always helpful in clearing out any doubts or mistakes that I made.

One of the biggest challenges I faced was applying what I had learned to real-world scenarios. However, the course provided plenty of opportunities for hands-on practice, which helped me gain confidence in my abilities.

Discord Community is a Plus!

One of the most valuable aspects of the course was the opportunity to interact with other students and my mentor on Discord Community. Through online forums and group discussions, I was able to learn from others and gain new perspectives on multiple topics.

The Sarmaaya Summit

Upon successful completion of the course, there was an announcement related to a grand annual meetup called the Sarmaaya Summit. Now this was an amazing opportunity to meet our mentor, instructor and idol Syed Faraz along with other members of the community and friends from the batch.

The Sarmaaya Summit was held at the opulent Serena Hotel Islamabad and more than 400 people showed up for the grand event. There were some keynote speeches by the Sarmaaya Financials CEO and Co.Founder Laeeq Ahmad, Co-Founder Ajaz Ahmad, Syed Faraz, Vice President, Ammar Yaseen, Vice President Investments, and renowned influencer Muzammil Hassan from the Thought Behind Things podcast. The Q&A session with the distinguished guests gave the attendees an opportunity to learn more about Sarmaaya Financials and its future prospects.
